Yin Yoga
Monday's 8-9 AM

Yin yoga is a complementary yoga practice to the more yang experiences such as power and vinyasa flow yoga. It is the approach in yin yoga that is different - some poses are the same, but are held for longer periods, in relative stillness, at a point between edge and ease - with the ultimate goal of reaching deep connective tissues and ligaments of the body. Energy (chi) is also released and circulated throughout the body through this practice and a more inward looking approach is taken - ultimately preparing the mind and body for meditation. Reiki and essential oils will be offered.

Gentle Yoga
Tuesday's 9:30-10:30 AM

Senior friendly, gentle yoga flow class. Props provided and modifications offered to allow for a safe yoga experience in standing, chair and mat based poses. Aromatherapy and soothing music enhance this healing yoga experience.

Chair Yoga
Wednesday's 10:30-11:30 AM

Senior friendly chair yoga Chair yoga is a great choice if you are healing from an injury or prefer the stability of having the support of a chair. Class will be in and around the chair with multiple modifications offered. Essential oils are offered in each class.

Restorative Yoga and Meditation
Thursday's 9-10 AM

Senior friendly, mat based class, focusing on restorative yoga poses and meditation. Restorative yoga poses use many props (blocks, bolsters, blankets, the wall etc) to support the body and allow the mind and body to soften and release held tension. Various meditation practices will be offered throughout this class. Essential oils are also offered.

$30 for each monthly series. $18 drop in.

*Must register at Cohasset Rec 1 day ahead to receive link.  

*4 student minimum for series to run. 

*Students must have: 36 inch foam roller and 2 pinkie or yoga tune up balls to participate in these classes. 

Join certified yoga therapist Amy Di Lillo in the comfort of your own home this Spring and roll and flow away your stress and boost your immune system! Each session will focus on unique yogic and therapeutic ways to open your body and reset your nervous system by using therapeutic tools and yoga flow practices. This series is beginner friendly and will leave you feeling refreshed and inspired to try a few techniques with your tools each day.

Enjoy this therapeutic, healing and beginner friendly yoga flow class. We will explore various flows, held poses and deep stretches that will leave you feeling open, refreshed and more flexible. Each class will include plenty of pose modifications and will be customized for the participants. This semi-private, ongoing class.
